Savannah joined our team in January, 2016. She comes to us after attending Boise State and Chico State University for a total of three years. She is currently assessing her future plans in regards to what she would like to make her career, although she definitely seems to have found her niche in the veterinary scenario.
Savannah jumps in any chance she gets to learn hands on from doctors and technicians alike and has definitely expressed interest in pursuing this vocation further and the clients and staff would definitely agree with and benefit from that course!
She enjoys being outdoors, especially in the winter. Snowboarding is a favorite activity as well as spending time with the five dogs currently in her household. These consist of 3 labs as well as a dachshund and a Chihuahua. They may not all actually belong to her but are all her “babies”.
Her most “challenging” and special addition is “Elijah” (Eli), the German Shepherd. Savannah fostered Eli when he was turned over to our clinic as a 6 week pup because he had a congenital defect that kept him from eating. After surgery he progressed daily and then, unfortunately broke his leg. He is doing well thanks to Savannah and the rest of the staff and, just like any pup, loves to test the boundaries! He has become a permanent part of Savannah’s family and is thriving.
